Unfortunately to echo the reviews below I feel I must, had 2 fires installed (eventually). Time quoted was a morning, actual time was nigh on a month, he still didn’t finish it even though demanding payment (skirting left off and the place a mess)- no paperwork provided despite chasing for weeks, had gas safe come out who condemned his work and cut our gas off in December due to the leaks he had left with his shoddy work. My next job is taking it legal as there is no way I should pay for something twice, absolute shambolic service with things that keep occurring during the installation that aren’t his fault, house burglary, van not working, dog ate homework etc etc, just turns up when he likes and expects you to accommodate it.. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Absolute avoid at all cost! Makes promises that he does not keep, always late or won't turn does not return phone calls and left us with a job that we had to have Gas safe come and inspect. The inspection failed as there were too many parts of the job that had not been performed to standard. Over charges and prices are based on a job per basis and not hourly rate so you never know what he is going to charge you. This guy is a real cowboy!

We had James. Avoid at all costs. Serious neglectful, left us with such a dangerous situation we could have had a fire. Use ANYONE else. Impossible to get hold of, doesn't return calls, makes false promises, fails to turn up even in emergency. Disgusting service.

James came to investigate our leaking kitchen pipe the moment he finished his current job and instead of offering to do a hatchet job like one of my previous plumbers, he insisted the kitchen cupboard needed to be cut away to be able to do the job properly. He then showed me the extent of the previous poor job that had been done due to lack of easy access. Although he couldn't fix it on the spot, he turned off our water supply so as not to damage things further and went out of his way to return mid-evening and get the job done so we weren't without water. Really nice chap, and he gets the job done properly without cutting corners and shows you exactly what the problem is. I highly recommend him.
